Targeted to students aged 13-18, the Senior Division will work to develop advanced skill and capacity in the solo voice repertoire. After being assigned repertoire by Townsend Opera artistic staff, participating students will meet every 3 months for a master class with Townsend Opera Players artistic staff. The program will culminate with a capstone performance of the repertoire developed over the academic year.

During the summer, participating students will enjoy a four-week, highly-intensive program that provides hands-on training and experience in singing, character development, acting, and dance. Participants train with Townsend Opera Players artistic, production, and technical staff in developing a capstone performance at the end of the four-week period.

There is no cost to participate in the master classes, and there is a $50 fee to participate in the summer program.
